This event is suitable for "entry level" riders with no "Hero" sections. The only bike requirement is street legal and registered, same for the rider. Motorcycles from small Trail Bikes to large Adventure Bikes will be suitable. Terrain will be sand & dirt with roadway, any DOT dual-sport tire will work. The ride will be self-guided and swept by a crew on UTV's with trailer and gas. These trails are well traveled by the powersports community and clearly defined. Both a "Google Maps" and .gpx file download of the route are available below. There are several locations where you can "cut out" and return to the campground or break for fuel - they will be marked by signage.
